If you have been struggling to find a great theme to work with your WordPress site why not take a look at Genesis. I was certainly finding all the themes I was trying to be very limited on their options. They never seemed to hit the nail on the head, one would allow a different layout but had no SEO options while another would have SEO options but looked below par.

I chose the layout which had right hand columns as I find that always achieves the most attention. There were plenty of other options available though so you can use the one which you prefer. I really liked that Genesis has the SEO options built into the coding which saves time and makes it easy to work with. I highly recommend checking out this theme if you want a flexible and well-made theme to improve your website.
